Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women Grants Management Services

Background/Challenge:

In FY 2019 alone, OVW awarded 754 new grants totaling more than $462M. Currently, the OVW portfolio includes more than 2,200 active awards totaling $1.55 billion. Some examples of these grant programs include;

  • Grants to Reduce Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking on Campus Program
  • Training and Services to End Violence Against Women with Disabilities
  • Sexual Assault Services Culturally Specific Program
  • Grants to Tribal Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalitions Program
  • Transitional Housing Assistance Grants for Victims of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking

To service these grants, dedicated personnel are required for the administration and management of policy, planning, application receipt, award processing, post award administration, monitoring, reporting, training, audit resolution, technical assistance and closeout. These grant durations range from twelve to thirty-six months.
